American capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”. Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama’s command that GM’s (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of “pure” free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a “bold” move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK’s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our “wise” Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper…but a “freeman” whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set “fair” maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Wake up America! We should be screaming at the top of our lungs, at the very least.

Lawyers tag nominee as ‘terror on the bench’

Lawyers who have argued cases before Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor call her “nasty,” “angry” and a “terror on the bench,” according to the current Almanac of the Federal Judiciary — a kind of Zagat’s guide to federal judges.

The withering evaluation of Judge Sotomayor’s temperament stands in stark contrast to reviews of her peers on the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Of the 21 judges evaluated, the same lawyers gave 18 positive to glowing reviews and two judges received mixed reviews. Judge Sotomayor was the only one to receive decidedly negative comments.

Ok, So we have a racist, liberal, activist with a nasty temper. And all of this is documented. If the so-called conservatives don’t stand up to this, then may God have mercy on our souls. We are doomed.

If you think this “appointee” can stand up to 1% of the scrutiny that most of Bush’s picks were subjected to, you are living in a dream world. But she’ll probably get a few softballs underhanded to her, and she’ll sail right through the cesspool some call the Senate.

The NRA

Some people wonder why I am not an avid NRA supporter.

I think they do a lot of good. But I believe they shirk their responsibility at times. Case in point:

To right’s dismay, NRA stays out of Sotomayor fight

Possibly, if not probably, the most anti-seconds amendment nominee to date.
“Sotomayor and other members of the court ruled that the Second Amendment does not apply to the states, only to the federal government”

“Sotomayor’s court also ruled that the Supreme Court’s decision District of Columbia v. Heller, which invalidated the District’s law against handgun possession, did not go so far as to apply the Second Amendment to state law.”

“But a spokesman for the organization said it’s staying on the sidelines for now.

“Right now we have a lot of concerns and questions and we hope to have those addressed during the confirmation hearing and throughout the process,” said Andrew Arulanandam, an NRA spokesman. “As far as our actions, we reserve the right to do anything based on what we find out.

“All options are on the table,” he added. “As we speak today, we’re waiting for the confirmation process. A research team is looking into her record on our issue.””

Come on, NRA! What else do you need? I wonder at times if they are not in the pocket of the opposition.

Are you Wondering

Are you wondering why the “political process” is broken?

We have the Democrooks — we expect abject racism from them. If you are white, you are guilty of all manner of sins committed by everyone.

Then we have the Republicrooks. They have decided that they don’t want to fight the most liberal, racist supreme court nominee in history.

And they wonder why the voters are apathetic? True conservatives have no representation in either party.

We don’t need a third political party. We need a second one before we need a third one.

Random thoughts and observations:

Racism is racism, no matter what color or background of the individual in question.
Do you think a white man could have ever gotten by saying “Imagine a judicial nominee said ‘my experience as a white man makes me better than a latina woman,’” ? No way. Yet Obamas’ Supreme court nominee siad the same thing in reverse. I call racism.

Despite what you’re reading from the mainstream media, a Hispanic has already served on the SCOTUS and was put there by a Republican. One Benjamin Nathan Cardozo.

Whatever happens with the confirmation of President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, one thing is clear: she will not be the first hispanic or Latino to serve on the Supreme Court. This is a historical — and not a predictive – statement.

The reason Judge Sotomayor will not be the first hispanic on the Court is that the first justice of hispanic origin was already nominated — by a Republican President — and confirmed by the Senate to serve on the Supreme Court more than 70 years ago. This would be Justice Benjamin Nathan Cardozo, who also has the distinction of being the second Jewish justice on the Court.

I’m sure these facts won’t get in the way of the Obama faithful trumpeting about how “The One” has made history again.

It is funny how hung up on skin color and ethnicity liberals are though. I thought it was the content of one’s character and not the color of one’s skin that mattered?

Once Unthinkable, U.S. Sales Tax Gets Fresh Look

Levy Viewed as Way to Reduce Deficits, Fund Health Reform

By Lori Montgomery
Washington Post Staff Writer

With budget deficits soaring and President Obama pushing a trillion-dollar-plus expansion of health coverage, some Washington policymakers are taking a fresh look at a money-making idea long considered politically taboo: a national sales tax.

Common around the world, including in Europe, such a tax — called a value-added tax, or VAT — has not been seriously considered in the United States. But advocates say few other options can generate the kind of money the nation will need to avert fiscal calamity.

So, get ready. We’ll probably end up with both an income tax AND a sales tax. Seems like there was a revolution here a little over 230 years ago over 0.25% tax. On Tea. My, how we are accustomed to so much more abuse now.

One of the first, sadly not the last….

When I hire a plumber to come fix my plumbing, I don’t stand over his shoulder, and direct him on which tool to use next, or what task to perform next. Most would just pack up and leave. And I would not blame them. They are professionals that I have hired to do a job. So I can let them do their job, or not. If I let them get halfway done, and them kick them out of my house, I still have to pay for the work done, and more than likely have a mess on my hands. Not too bright a move in my estimation.

When the US sends troops in to do a job, we should let them FINISH the job. All the way. No interference. Once negotiations have broken down to a point where we send troops in, let the military command(professionals) determine when the job is finished. Because if w don’t, se’ll end up with a mess on our hands. Case in point:

North Korea claimed it carried out a powerful underground nuclear test Monday

Now if Harry Truman had let Douglas MacArthur finish the job in 1953, do you think we’d have this today?

This goes double for Viet Nam, Somalia, et. al.

What is really troubling is the current administration’s posture:submissive.

In a sobering holiday interview with C-SPAN, President Obama boldly told Americans: “We are out of money.”

Wow. I didn’t know that. Neither did 3/4 of the citizens in this country. That’s why we were all opposed the the “bailout”, and we got it anyway.

Alan Keyes said ” the laws of economics have not been repealed”.

The piper will have to be paid.

This can get real ugly, real fast, at any point.
