For # 3: Either you can rely on your senses to know , to perceive something, or you cannot. If you see a chair, you perceive it as a chair, and you sit in it relying on your perception. This is not to say that there are things that we do not, or cannot perceive, but as a foundation for our arguments, we must agree that our basic perceptions are reliable.
for # 4. Either you accept the fact that we can communicate, or you do not.
So, for a recap:
1. The first one is the “Law of Non-Contradiction: It is not possible that something be both true and not true at the same time and in the same context. I think the notion of time is more inherent in the Law as we normally understand it , but that the notion of context is equally important.
2. The law of “Causalityâ€: Causality or causation is defined as the relationship between one event (called cause) and another event (called effect) which is the consequence (result) of the first.
